Waialeʻe Industrial School for Boys
Located on the North Shore, at a site commonly known as Crawford’s (the name of a convalescent home that opened after the boys’ school closed) or Sheepside (after a now closed skatepark on the site).
Operated from 1903-1950.

Industrial School for Girls at Mōʻiliʻili
Located in Mōʻiliʻili, present-day site of University of Hawaiʻi Lower Campus dorms.
Operated from 1913-1929. In 1929, the school moved to the Kawailoa site.

Kawailoa Training School for Girls
Located in Kailua, close to Maunawili, present-day site of Kawailoa Youth and Family Wellness Center (Hawaiʻi Youth Correctional Facility).
Operated from 1929-1963. In 1963, it merged with Koʻolau Boys’ Home to become the Hawaiʻi Youth Correctional Facility.

Koʻolau Training School for Boys
Located across the street from Kawailoa, present-day site of the Women’s Community Correctional Center.
Operated from 1950-1963. In 1963, it merged with the girls’ school to become the Hawaiʻi Youth Correctional Facility.
